New Year, Same Old B.A.D News

Blogger's Note: This blog may be a bit challenging to those with short attention spans. But it's about time to let it out. If you're patient in reading this, I pray that your patience will be rewarded.

No, I'm not doing this age challenge thing that's going around on social media lately. Although it has occurred to me that it has been 10 years now since I've officially started blogging, and if I must say so myself, I am quite amazed at how I continue to do this. It's not like I'm getting paid for it, it's not like I have a lot of followers or readers, and recently it's been quite hard trying to muster up the energy to do this. Over the past couple of years my postage has dropped significantly, first from just doing too much and fear of redundancy, and now just from burnout. It must be some passion to this.

2018 was particularly brutal for me, as throughout the entire year I found myself constantly in a state of mood swings, mainly due to deaths of relatives and friends, beginning with the first day of the 2018 itself. I found myself having to go to a longtime friends' house before the crack of dawn, and it was cold too might I add, to see a friend who apparently passed away in his sleep. I didn't get the chance to see his face, due to the paramedics blocking off the entrance way. That sudden death affected me very deeply. If it wasn't for the cheap phone I had breaking down on me, I'd probably still have the voicemail I received telling me of his passing.

In all, I experienced over 10 deaths of relatives and friends last year, each one having it's own significance, and a couple more close shaves. These were lifetime friends, and relatives I grew up with. Not just mere acquaintances. Those memories last, and the pain never really goes away.

Not all of the past year was gloomy, there were a few bright spots here and there. I got to showcase my work in two exhibits, the Art 214 exhibit, showcasing the local Dallas artists, and the Unapologetic Exhibit at the South Dallas Cultural Center last May. Along with my mural being hung in the local library last January, there were some pick me ups along the way to help me keep my chin up. But there was more to be sad about last year than happy, at least on a personal basis.

But those were personal issues, and thankfully, I am able to keep standing, smiling, and swinging when I need to. Once I'm reminded that this life is a test, I feel that my faith will help me get through those times.

Now dealing with the societal matters, that's a different story. You have little or no control over these affairs, and very little say. And to make matters worse, very few people are willing to listen anyway. Social media dialogue is basically people talking AT each other, unfunny, ignorant and misinformed memes, and the same propaganda that I thought with this so called "democratization" of information, was going to diminish due to corporate media not having as much control over the media...Boy was I freaking wrong.

You're subjected to watching groups of people gripe and moan, point fingers, and complain about issues that either don't get to the main point at hand, or even worse are fabricated lies, bent on persuading people to see things their way.

Last year we witnessed President Donald Trump use all types of mis and disinformation to drive home his "need" to change immigration laws, and build some wall designed to "keep out" immigrants who as he would put it, take jobs and bring about mayhem and decay to good old "American society and values." He did this despite the blitz of mass murders and shootings in schools, houses of worship, yoga studios, grocery stores, nightclubs and shopping malls inside America alone, and committed mainly by White men. He and other deniers chalked that up to "mental health" issues, which is now also becoming the buzz word for America's growing obsession with depression, suicide, escapism of all sorts, violence, drugs and bigotry.

His separation of some immigrant children from their families and holding some in detention cells became widespread in social media, and hard to even look at in many instances.

He even blamed the death of Indianapolis Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson on the failure to do something about the immigration laws, and not on the fact that he was a victim of a drunk driver, one of tens of thousands of people killed every year in America because America refuses to acknowledge alcohol kills more people here annually than any drummed up terrorist act could ever accomplish.  Only a fool could think the slogan "Drink Responsibly", which was preceded by Think Before You Drink, before breweries realized that slogan actually represented a conflict of interest, could ever have any major impact, or actually be some sort of resolution towards alcoholism and drunk driving.

He and others either failed to read, or completely ignore recent stats from the National Institute on Drug Abuse, which the picture below shows an astonishing 72,000 people died from overdose in 2017 alone. This is not even talking alcohol and cigarettes! Add those in, and add the 30+ thousand suicides committed yearly, and what you have here is a great deflection of the problem in America, people focusing on their own intolerance and prejudices, instead of honing in on the real issue at hand.

One can only imagine what the stats will be now that he's taken it to a level of actually shutting down the federal government, sacrificing the well being of many employees, many who voted for him yet still think for some reason this is a good idea to hold the nation hostage over a supposed wall. It reminds me of Reagan and his "Star Wars" rants back in the 80's, trying to conjure up support for satellites and things in space, all designed to protect us from the evils of Russia.

Hate and fear-mongering at its finest. And yet America continues to eat itself alive.

This "wall" he is willing to shut down the government over will only keep out the "external" issues he and his ilk continue to demonize.

But not to be outdone by the likes of Trump and his ilk came the liberals with even more insidious accusations and injustices of their own. 2018 was also the year of deflection for the liberals and feminists as we saw the likes of David Hogg and his tirades concerning gun control, using the Parkland High School shooting in Florida to spearhead his campaign against guns. Virtually every shooting that occurs in America now is classified and propagated by liberals as gun violence, whereas conservatives point to "mental health" issues as the problem, but that's only in the case of a White man being the culprit.

As if the gun has a mind of its own. People, the gun is an instrument used in the killing of people. To rant against gun violence every time someone is shot in America makes no sense. But again it's people's politics that are more concerning, not the truth of the matter.

We seem to forget about the impact of the bombing of the Federal building in Oklahoma City, which took the lives of 162 people, and hurt many others. Maybe because it threw a serious curve into people's politics. I mean you couldn't blame it on so called radical Muslims and immigration, although they tried, and you couldn't point the finger at gun control either, because guns were not used in the killing of people in this instance. It was a deep and dark reflection of what's wrong internally in America, and yet almost 25 years later, we still don't get it.

All we see mainly from liberals are marches which stir up emotions with speeches, sloganeering, chants, and now with silly hats, much like conservatives, but refuse to lay down much analysis and critical thinking. Along with marches for gun control, we saw women's marches all over the place. We even witnessed rapper Common reciting the lyrics to his song "The Day Women Took Over", at an event supposedly advocating "gender equality". Go figure.

But one march that was grossly overlooked in 2018 was the march against suicide, the Out of the Darkness March, which took place in three cities, with Dallas being one of the cities.

This received scant, if any coverage by any of the major media markets. It serves as a testament to the selfish concerns of political parties and special interest groups in America to overlook the real concerns with the masses, yet dupe them to blindly follow their personal whims and wishes. According to this site, 30,000 people in America alone commit suicide, and countless others attempt to every year, but since this tragedy cannot be attributed to people's political agendas, it's swept under the rug, with the best that can be done is labeling it a  "mental health issue", and the distribution of pharmaceuticals and psychotic drugs.

But 2018 seemed to have brought out the worst in feminism, as we were hit with a barrage of victim narratives aimed only pointing out this "toxic masculinity" and "misogyny"conspiracy. In 2018 women were encouraged through feminism to render themselves as conveniently stupid, 'misled" and oppressed, all in an effort to absolve responsibility and accountability for their own actions and predicaments.

Women were encouraged through the likes of former strippers Amber Rose and rapper Cardi B., porn stars, and other women, mainly feminists, that for a woman to tease, taunt, tempt, floss, exhibit, flirt, arouse the senses in men with her actions, speech and dress should not lead to any ill-conceived notion that such a woman wants sex, is interested in having sex, and should not be misconstrued as a woman of ill repute.

That the plethora of pornography (which modern feminists find no problem with, and exhort other women to produce as long as they are the producers, directors and manufacturers of such media) , provocative songs and videos and writings should not have any connection with the degeneration of morality here in America. To them, that's just "men being men."

Even worse, in this so called world of "toxic masculinity", "patriarchy" ,"rape culture" and "street harassment", women were encouraged more to "flaunt it if you got it", despite the ill consequences that comes from such open sensuality. To exhort modesty or take responsibility, you will be pelted with accusations of victim blaming, slut shaming, and being a part of some patriarchy. Baloney.

It defies all logic, reason, nature and conventional wisdom. Everyday we close and lock our doors and windows to our homes, offices, automobiles and filing cabinets, we encrypt our online information with passwords to keep all private information shielded from potential violators. But the woman, with her body, is encouraged to expose it to the fullest extent, and not expect any type of reciprocation from the male in either speech, thought or action. Along with this hideous idea comes the vilification of those who admonish women to "act like a lady" or simply "take responsibility" of their own predicaments. And any woman who takes up modest dress, especially religious women, and in particular Muslim women, are attacked through media outlets and liberal groups. No longer are Muslim women attacked by conservative White men, they are also attacked in a passive aggressive manner by liberal White women.

I can never forget the question I received from a Black woman last year who inquired why should Muslim women be executed for committing adultery. If one is not astute to the ways of feminists, both Black and White, one would not catch what she is actually saying. She was not concerned about why are people, both male and female, are executed when it comes to adultery, just women.

We also saw the PR metamorphosis of prostitution into "sex trafficking", a more appropriate term for feminists, since it implies that all female prostitutes are "forced" into this lifestyle by lecherous, parasitical, predatory males bent on dominating the woman. All women became sexually exploited creatures, and the decision to use her body for monetary gain could not come from the woman herself.

The picture of the sensual prostitute on Donna Summer'a "Bad Girls"" album cover has been replaced with repetitive propaganda of  kidnapping, bondage, enslavement, misogyny, and outright cruelty of women by the hands of men.

We forget to acknowledge of how that famous jazz singer named Billie Holiday was a young prostitute at one time, along with her mother. To my knowledge, she did not have a male pimp.

I went to an art exhibit held last April, which supposedly addressed "human trafficking", but it was nothing but women and liberals railing against female prostitution. No mentioning of slave labor, sweatshops, child labor, slavery of that type. Just paintings, photography, of women in fetal positions like little children, one picture was a smartphone, which supposedly symbolized predatory men on social media, one picture had a woman with her mouth taped shut, and information posted about human trafficking by the University of Texas is what was exhibited. This is the same university that had an campus carry rally in 2016, where organizers passed out rubber penises to students, and slogans such as "cocks not glocks" where broadcast without shame. I can't possibly put the pictures to this event on this blog, but trust me, it happened. If you want to, Google it on your own time.

BLOGGERS' NOTE: Please do not misconstrue this to mean I do not think that some women/girls are not kidnapped and sold into prostitution. However, based on the evidence I've seen, I've come to the conclusion that it's another propaganda tool to indict ALL men, and to absolve ALL women and girls of exploiting their bodies for monetary gain. This "sex trafficking" conspiracy is to modern day feminists like pornography was to the feminists of the '50s and such, before women starting declaring their own "sexual liberation".

We saw the unjust, oppressive and deceitful #metoo movement claim victory in the conviction of Bill Cosby, who was accused of "sexual assault" by Andrea Constand, a woman who not only could not remember what day she was "assaulted", but called him several times after receiving a drug from him that she claims, had her "crying" on the inside. She did not call police, She also brought him gifts. What "victim" does that? Don't give me no "Stockholm Syndrome" nonsense. Either she liked what he did, or she didn't. Obviously she liked it.

This same movement, which harbors actress Alyssa Milano, not only justified the results in the Cosby case, but apparently endorses her statement that the #metoo movement defines what "due process" is. Basically every man accused of rape/sexual assault is guilty until proven innocent. Sounds familiar Black people? Yet these feminists rant about White privilege, but only in terms of White men.

Again, two sides of the same coin.

Yet this same movement was left with their deceitful mouths open after the allegations of sexual assault against actress and #metoo advocate Asia Argento came up. They were left scurrying to find all types of deflection and damage control to diffuse the situation. In an article in the New York Times, the author resorted to typical feminist pettiness by exclaiming "men do it too." This movement does not want to get to the real truth of the situation that rape and sexual assault is not about power, because it forces the women to admit their culpability and contributions in the decline of sexual mores of this society.

We also saw Serena Williams accuse a referee of sexism after receiving a mere warning for receiving coaching from her coach in the audience. A mere warning became a conspiracy theory of misogyny, White Privilege, and pulling out the race card, by both sides might I add.

We also saw the public relations makeover in the Cyntoia Brown story, which has now resulted in Cyntoia being granted clemency from serving a life sentence for the murder of a man who solicited sex from her. By painting her as a "sex slave" and a "victim", she was finally able to convince at least the judge of being "too young" to accept such a harsh sentence. Never mind the fact she was a reported drug user, also former prostitute (which the state of Tennessee does not accept that label when referenced to prostitutes under the age of 18, thanks to women's propaganda) and all around delinquent, who shot a customer in the back of the head at close range, and robbed him of his vehicle, guns and money. She was a "victim" in the eyes of feminists, and sad to say, a growing number of duped Black people in  America who not only will judge an individual based on pure emotions and not facts, but will judge a person based on a one sided story seen on TV, or heard through the jokes of a comedian.

And although the liberals portrayed Trump in heinous forms regarding the separating and detaining of immigrant children from their families and parents, they conveniently forgot to mention the ongoing war in state and federal circles regarding abortion, which they've neatly repackaged as women's rights" or"reproductive rights." Women are constantly in battle about having the right to terminate a life, to which many have contributed in the reproduction, but don't want to keep for whatever reason. Now a bill has been passed in New York state that will grant a woman the right to abort up to 40 weeks. So the woman can wait until the baby is ready to come out, and on a whim, decide to terminate...wow.

And now many of these same women, with this same line of thinking want to run for President in 2020. Am I supposed to feel any safer with these people?

It gets to be a very tedious task trying to explain to a society bent on self destruction, prejudice and intolerance about impending doom to such a society, unless some drastic changes take place. Changes that could mean true justice for all and a true spirit of truth, justice, peace and unity for all, but only through the elimination of personal desires and beliefs contrary to the true nature of human beings and their purpose here on Earth. I'm learning more day by day of how mankind is not a creature of rationale, but a creature of emotions and desires, and those desires, wishes and emotions will lead to his destruction when the ultimate goal is personal fulfillment.

As for now all I see is the constant bickering between parties, and people trying to fulfill self serving wishes and desires, despite whom it may hurt. And when the smoke clears, and there's nothing but rubbish and remains, who will really benefit? Not us.

We just don't get it.

It's All Connected (But We Still Don't Get It)

The more I reflect on the Brett Kavanaugh hearing going on at this moment, along with Bill Cosby being sentenced to prison, Jameis Winston being sued by the Uber driver, and other events  where men are accused of assault/rape, the more I keep going back to Serena Williams and the US Open controversy, which took place a couple of weeks ago. The world got to witness up close firsthand, uncut, live and in the flesh what happens when a woman accuses a man of sexism without evidence, which is slander,  and the reactions by those who support her without factoring in any evidence that points to the contrary.

The following days proved that many of us missed the point altogether.

It was an open and shut case that proved how human beings are not creatures of rationale, but creatures of emotions and desires. Emotions and desires are great, when used in the right context. But when love and hatred blinds one from seeing that which is clear and evident, there is no hope for truth, justice and guidance.

Serena Wlliams' antics at the US Open were only a continuum of the ongoing story of the mythological Champion of Women's Rights aka Feminism, that Serena has fallen victim to. This was not an isolated incident, nor was it the first time for her to rail against what she sees as sexism.

When Serena was nominated as Sports Illustrated's  Sportperson of the Year in 2015, it marked a monumental point for feminism. Around this time we saw a rise in feminism, politically helped by the Obama administration( and no I'm not Republican either), and repeated over and over in the media, which lead to other token feminists getting their shine, especially the likes of Beyonce'. Remember the Super Bowl halftime show, and the preceding video "Formation"?

Around that time Serena seemed to began chanting more about advocating "women's rights" and dedicating her matches for "women's causes" and the like.

This past summer we found Serena at a "Purple Purse" event, advocating "awareness" against domestic abuse, a feminist pseudonym for men hitting women. When addressing the topic of domestic abuse, she calls for not only men, but boys to be educated about domestic abuse.. She  also uttered "That could be something my daughter could face and that's not cool." My question to her would be "what if your daughter is the perpetrator?"  Domestic abuse is not just men abusing women, but women abusing men as well. But we all know feminists don't see it that way.

This past summer we also found out #MeToo advocate and one of Harvey Weinstein's accusers Asia Argento has been accused of trying to pay off former child star Jimmy Bennett, for an alleged sexual assault incident occurring in 2015. The New York Times wrote an article about the incident, but quickly deflected the issue by proclaiming "men do it too", and reiterating their bogus claim that sexual assault and rape is about "power and gender". and not sexual mores.

The parasitical MeToo and Times Up movements are misleading people, and merely exploiting those who have truly suffered from these traumatic experiences.  Under these quasi-justice organizations, the true victims are being relegated to the status of pawns, tokens, expendables and collateral damage in their so called war. The very moment they publicly stated rape, sexual assault/harrassment, and domestic abuse were issues of power and gender, and not declining sexual morals and morality in general, we should have known their intentions, but we failed. We dropped the ball.

Some of those who disagreed with Serena's antics also dropped the ball by asserting race was implied. The infamous comic strip drawn by the Austrtailian cartoonist clearly accentuated stereotypical Black/African American features; big lips, large, volatile and angry women, yet it was insisted that race had nothing to do with the cartoon.

Some broadcasters clearly accused her of also pulling out the race card, to which I did not hear any instances of race in her tirade, nor in the post-game press conference. Reviewing the clips will show she clearly stated she was trying to stand up for women's rights.  Instead of focusing on the fallacy of feminism, some people took it as part of a broader issue to attack what they call "identity politics" and "social justice"in the broader sense, and left wing politics, with multiculturalism being mentioned as well, a pseudonym for race-mixing.

Frankly speaking, I don't see how she can rage against racism, or especially White Male Privilege, seeing that she's married to a White man anyway. If anything,  Serena,  like Bill Cosby, Monique and other Black celebrities suffer from the illusion of inclusion.  This usually occurs after achieving some sort of mainstream acceptance, or adulation. It causes them to either give unbalanced and unfair criticism at poor Black people , while downplaying or avoiding racism and bigotry, or to harbor grandiose feelings toward one's personal achievement, and totally deny racism altogether. In the end, most of Serena's talking points, like feminism itself is mostly White liberal-influenced talking points.

The masses of people are being misguided by those who desire something other than truth and justice, and here belied the opportunity to begin to detect and rectify the matter. It was served on a plate, for all to see, reflect, and begin to repair. But we turned it down. Instead we went to our colored corners, one corner blue, and the other corner red, listened to the pundits whisper in our ear, and came back out to the center of the ring, swinging away, and not hitting a darn thing.

We still don't get it.

The Creepiest October Yet

Untitled painting by the artist, Quwwa Davis.

After becoming Muslim in 1992, I stopped celebrating the usual holidays and certain cultural festivals. I figured October wouldn't have that same creepy feel or atmosphere, since I no longer participated in Halloween festivals, both on the job and at home.

Yet another form of creepiness has started taking place in October that seems to get worse every year.  One that has devastating and frightening effects on society, and unlike Halloween, is far from fictitious.

It seems to have started before the turn of the decade, when the NFL jumped on the "humanitarian" and PR bandwagon, and decided to promote Breast Cancer Awareness to its fans, by making the players add pink to their usual attire....

Let me pause for a moment to let that sink in. So the NFL took the opportunity to publicize its support for Breast Cancer Awareness, a condition mostly experienced by women, who at this time only made up a small fraction of the fan base until 2009, and even to this day has very little to no female personnel on the field, by making the team players add the effeminate color of pink to their attire.

Then the field began to look increasingly pink in hue.

This also allow the NFL to promote Breast Cancer Awareness by selling pink NFL paraphanelia to its patrons.

One would begin to wonder since this is a sport dominated by males, shouldn't the NFL at least provide some sort of balance by promoting prostate cancer as well? It's only logical, but for some reason, they've failed. I guess they figure the only thing men should be concerned with is erectile dysfunction, but even that's gone now, since Viagara and Cialis have pulled out of sponsorships due to loss of patents.

So I sit here, years later, still trying to make the connection between breast cancer and tossing a football around a field, and trying to avoid getting clocked by a 250-pound linebacker who runs a 40-yard dash in 4 and a half seconds. My primary conclusion seems to be to tap into the largest consumer bloc in the world, being that of women.

My one sole consolation in all of this is that I no longer had to watch Jessica Simpson prance around Texas Stadium and abroad with that God-awful Pepto-Bismol Tony Romo jersey. Good riddance to both.

But then it got creepier, as the Ray Rice/Janay Rice debacle in 2014 kicked into overdrive, causing Ray Rice to lose his livelihood and be stripped of his constitutional rights of not being punished for the same "crime" twice by the tyrant and protector of feminists' interests, commissioner Roger Goodell. But that didn't matter, nor did it matter that Janay instigated the altercation by spitting and hitting Ray. The only thing that mattered was that Janay seemed to have started something she could not finish.

The NFL announced in October of 2014, primarily as a response to 16 female senators and other womens' groups trying to throw their biased and partial influence around, it was adopting a "No More" campaign, where NFL players this time had to appear on a series of commercials taking a stand against "domestic violence", which is really a code phrase for violence against women. The month of  October is now also recognized as well for violence against women, or domestic violence. In addition to having a pink ribbon to commemorate BCA, now a purple effeminate ribbon is now introduced.

Never mind the fact that a growing amount of studies show the rise of abuse of men by women. Forget studies showing that a growing number of altercations and domestic abuse are instigated by women, the only concern is what happens to women.

The No More campaign had some very head-scratching moments, to say the least. My biggest question was what in God's Holy Name is Ice-T doing on such commercials? Mr. Ice "Mutha-F***in'" T, who introduced himself as "The L.A. Player" on his first album "Rhyme Pays", who cites the late pimp and author Robert "Iceberg Slim" Beck as a main influence, whose songs about sex and women would make Tipper Gore's face turn red with rage, is now concerned about "domestic abuse?" Wow.

Then in October of 2015, Ebony Magazine tried to get into the act, amidst multiple accusations of sexual assault against comedian and TV star Bill Cosby. They conveniently used the month of October, designated as Women's month, as a springboard to promote a November 2015 issue entitled The Family Issue(s). Yeah, I'm scratching my head at that propaganda move to this day. But it also gave a chance to show-off the new editor-in-chief and self-proclaimed black feminist Kierna Mayo, as she took to national news to discuss the edition with other White female journalists, who obviously threw softball questions at Kierna, all designed to not only subtly implicate Bill in the accusations, but to generalize ALL BLACK MEN as monsters and predators, and to subvert the traditional definition of a nuclear family, which included both a mother and a father, and the father is normally the head of the household.

Suddenly October no longer seems like a month to promote the overall well being of women, but to scandalize and propagate feminists' man-hating notions, and promote power trips by using issues such as sexual harrassment and assault, street harrassment, rape, and the totality of no good men. October looks less like a month of preparing to dress your kids up like ghosts, goblins, witches and warlocks, and more like a male witch-hunt by malcontent feminists.

But October of this year has been the creepiest yet, especially in light of the sexual assault allegations of film mogul Harvey Weinstein. With numerous charges  and allegations being levied against Harvey, two of the craziest incidents occurred.

 The first concerned Donna Karan, the famous fashion designer, who briefly added in a short interview that it is women's responsibility of how they project themselves in public, which opened the floodgates of howls, boos and hisses from the feminists. Donna apparently broke the first feminist commandment;

Thou shalt not hold women accountable for anything bad that happens to them. It is never their fault.

But Donna has an undeniable point here. Women are responsible for how they project themselves. Yet these feminists continue to feed their foolish desires using irrational opinions, trying to assure women that sexual harrassment/assault is an issue of power, and not of declining morality, in which both men and women have aptly contributed to.

We just witnessed a sickening social media challenge taking place, where women appeared on social media, rapping about what extremes they would go through to get some d**k. Some of the participants were of dubious distinctions, some had their careers started by being in sextapes, some were single mothers who had babies by different fathers, all contributing to rhymes describing what lengths would they go through for some sex. The song itself, sung by a rapper name GameOva Reedy, which which is so raunchy that it's not worth repeating, but is also worth noting of the another popularized song from the same area, entitled Monkey on tha D***K

The other incident involved this ridiculous #metoo campaign, where women who were victimized by sexual assault/harrassment/rape posted their experiences on social media to a broad audience. Why this was done was beyond me, for as I stated in a blog of 2016, courting public opinion is not always a good thing to do in this society, and in many cases will come back to haunt, such as the so called War on Drugs, and the War on Terror. Well now add the War on Men to that list.

Using Harvey's allegations and President Donald Trump's comments, feminists used these men, as well as Bill Cosby, and other male public figures to suggest that sexism and assault/harrassment are issues of power, and not of declining sexual mores. That's why it's important to them to leave out the male counterpart narratives, because it exposes their faulty logic.

Many women became upset at the fact that men were trying to chime in on this silly social media campaign, and some publicly showed their disdain towards such a thing, but the question is why? Why are they so hellbent not to include the male counterparts' story, whether it regards domestic violence, rape, or any other trauma women wish to claim only they suffer?

Why do they always refer to these things as issues of power? Do they not realize it does not take a person of power/influence to sexually violate someone, nor does someone have to sexually violate a person to wield power or influence over another? So when these female teachers are seducing young males into having sex with them, where is the power dynamic in that?

They know those theories won't hold water. But they also know when a person is emotionally vulnerable, it does not take much to make them feel good. Just boost their self-esteem, even if you have to LIE.

Tell them your clothing does not make a difference in how you are perceived. They'll love to hear that, even if it's not true. Never mind the fact the man has seen MULTIPLE IMAGES of women in provocative or scantily clad clothing, which obviously is going to have an effect on his perception of women in general, especially in Western societies. Just assure them they are not accountable for any degradation and decline in society. It's all the man's fault.

Then to cap it all off, a female judge overturned Ezekiel Elliots' injunction, and ordered him to begin to serve a 6-game suspension for charges he continues to deny to this day, and despite refusals to indict from the Columbus, OH police department, to the findings of the investigator that Goodell personally employed, not only has he ignored those findings, he even withheld the investigator from attending the final decision, he and his connected friends have deliberately railroaded Elliot, all for the sake of keeping some malcontent women off his back.

That letter must have really spooked him.

I know October has spooked me in ways Halloween has failed. I pray I can survive the next October. Only God knows what's in store.

What's Good For The Goose...(More Sick Puppies RE-EDITED)

Just when I thought I was finally over with the One Sick Puppy blogs, another incident to use as an example pops up. I guess that what happens when you're dealing with one sick puppy, huh?

This incident involves a 24 year old female teacher who recently turned herself in to authorities after fleeing, following allegations that she not only had been having sexual relations with a 13 year old male student, but was impregnated by him until recently aborting the baby.

It seems the teacher, who taught at a middle school in Houston, Texas, had been having sexual relations with the student for quite some time, even at the cognizance of some fellow students, as well as the parents, who supported the relationship so much so they even allowed the teacher to come and pick up the boy (because that's what he is...a boy) on occasions and spend the night at her house, in order to take him to school the next day.

But again, we took the allegations against Bill Cosby and Afrika Bambaataa,  broadcasting them nationwide, and presenting them as some twisted form of promoting some type of dialogue aimed at combating sexual abuse, misogyny, and other forms of sexual deviance, as if only men, or Black men, are capable of committing such unscrupulous acts.

I noticed the reactions from most of the people, and didn't bat an eye over the fact that very few, if any of the comments used words such as pedophile, predator, molestation, rape or assault in such an instance. Such words are not commonly used in cases where women are the accused. Those words are usually reserved to be used as ammo in the gender wars, mainly perpetuated and propagated by the modern-day feminists, designed to give the impression of victimization at the hands of the brutal, savage, male and his hetero-patriarchal empire that he designed and imposes on the masses of the people.

Just as bad was the response by some of the men who took one look at the photo, and gave the teacher a pass. This type of response is a reflection on the state of the modern day male(not man, but male), prone to look at things from a superficial perspective, being at least influenced, if not addicted to different levels of porn, and being conditioned by a media flooded with sex, sports and superhero movies, giving him at best a jaded look on life. This is the same media that is now promoting the girl-power anthems (especially Beyonce and Black feminism) that Kay Hymowitz, author of Manning Up: How The Rise Of Women Turned Men Into Boys goes into discussion in her book.

Some of the people tried to use twisted logic in this instance, citing laws regarding permissibility for one at such a young age to marry as a way of justifying such a relationship, yet how many of those people would consent to such a relationship if the situation was reverse?

Take a look at what happened last year when ex-Baltimore Ravens cheerleader Molly Shattuck, 48 years old at the time,  was charged with serving alcohol and having sex with a 15 year old boy, carrying a 15 year maximum sentence, with no mandatory minimum. What was the result? She basically gets probation, spending every other week in a work-release detention center. What are chances that she will be labeled a sex offender, and treated in the same respect as men who are convicted? Phrases such as molestor and statutory rape seem to elude situations that involve women.

Back in the day when the preponderance of evidence suggested men were more susceptible to commit such acts, it was much easier to sling terms and phrases like rape culture around, but now we are force to look at the fact that rather than labeling this a rape culture, we have to look at the reality for what is really going on. The increase in incidents like these are indicative that we are living in an over-sexed or a hypersexed society, not a rape culture. Incidents like this only give a reflection of where our priorities lie in this society, where true feelings and emotions are caste out, arousal, lust and desire take center stage, and one night stands and booty calls become mere corner talk. Where sex and love become misrepresented and redefined to a point where no one can tell the difference between the two.

This is a culture that finds nothing wrong with the concept of casual sex, as long as one uses protection. A culture that sexualizes everything from sporting events to even religious holidays. Halloween nights are now filled with grown-up women dressing as French maids, hookers, vixens, promiscuous nurses, and the like. A culture that attaches the words porn and gasm as suffixes to practically anything from food to shoes, such as the Facebook page entitled Shoe Box's Porn, a page cluttered with some of the most outrageous shoes created, usually seen on some of the most raunchy of women.

A culture like this cannot ever foster healthy relationships between men and women, but contribute to the growing divide between the sexes. Men and women will always look towards each other in disagreement, based on media-induced propaganda designed to keep the two at odds. The never ending cycle of hurt and mistrust will engulf the masses, and the masses will continue to tread the path of hurting each other, and all that will be left are damaged goods, trying the make the best of a bleak situation.

The advent of "sex-positive" feminism does nothing to help solve this issue, with women now being encouraged to "redefine" and "embrace" their sexuality, influencing other women to adopt this schizophrenic notion of being sexually liberated, while maintaining their "dignity", intelligence and "respect". As long as the woman seems to be in control of the situation, like feminist pornography, they see nothing wrong with such issues. Many Black feminist see nothing wrong with the popular TV show Scandal, although they speak of man's misogyny, patriarchy and such, yet the idea of a White married patriarchal figure having an affair with a Black woman seems not to bother them, as long as they feel that she exudes some form of perceived power.

It must also be noted that such situations like these should not in any fashion be taken as some badge of honor for the young man, or BOY, who through the act of sex can simply misinterpret what being a man is as simply being able to sexually satisfy an adult woman, nor should it be taken as a rite of passage for a young man. Such acts can cause as much psychological damage to the young man as to a young woman, regardless if the woman is willing and attractive, and the parents give consent to such activity.

On a side note, it should be duly noted that those who show disdain towards the movie Sweet Sweetback's Badass Song, starring Melvin Van Peebles, along with the writings of the late author Iceberg Slim, particularly the autobiography Pimp: The Story Of My Life should at least recognize the fact that despite the graphic sex and violence, and the portrayal of pimp life, both narratives started with a common theme not usually talked about. The sexualization of a young boy at the hands of an older woman.

Read Between The Lines: One Sick Puppy Continued

I really wanted to end the conversation on Afrika Bambaataa's sexual assualt allegations, however after listening to a couple of interviews on the subject, I felt like elaborating a little further on my stand that I took in the last blog.

My main point of contention took place when a Facebook friend shared an article dated May 4, 2016, entitled Dear Black Men, It's Time For Us To Talk About Afrika Bambaataa,  which appeared in an online Black celebrity gossip website called Bossip (I can only assume that's fusing the two words boss and gossip together.) This article attempts to exhort Black men to discuss the accusations against Afrika, regardless if they are true or not.

Bossip is owned by the Moguldom Media Group, which also owns Madame Noire and Hip Hop Wired, all three dealing primarily with celebrity gossip geared toward African Americans, with Bossip and Madame Noire focusing particularly on Black women. One is left wondering why would a website who is obviously preoccupied with gossip and patronized by more women than men just by reading most of the titles of the stories presented would all of a sudden turn advocate and exhort Black men to engage in a community forum to talk about one individual's allegations against him.

To drive home this point the article raised the Bill Cosby sexual assault allegations as some sort of example of how Black women "rose to the challenge" via social media in calling out Bill's misconduct, while most Black men refused to discuss the issue, and some accused the women involved of conspiring against Bill and/or Black men for many reasons. This gives the reader the idea that Black men's silence toward this issue either represented cowardice, shame, or worse tacital approval, which is what feminists have always tried to prove about men in the first place, especially Black men.

It left no room for consideration of men being cautious against speaking out of term or out of ignorance before all of the facts come in. Nope, it was either this or that, which is kinda funny when you think of people who speak against absolutism, yet would draw up their own absolute conclusions when they feel like it would benefit their argument.

Late last year I produced a video regarding Ebony Magazine's November issue entitled "The Family Issue" which was reported to raise "dialogue" of whether one could separate Bill Cosby from the fictitious character he created on The Cosby Show, the father figure Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable. Using a video clip taken from a CBS News interview with Kierna Mayo, recently appointed editor-in-chief of Ebony and self proclaimed Black feminist, and comparing the Cosby allegations with what happened with Willie Horton by conservatives in the late 80s, along with articles from The Root.Com, a Black feminist website owned by Univision, I set out to prove that there was more to this Ebony article, which even today remains unchallenged by so-called Black media. Due to the large file, I was unable to post it to the blog, but the Facebook link is below.

https://www.facebook.com/quwwa.davis/videos/10206244885695048/?l=5155088739720063097

The final point I want to bring up regarding the article is the claim made that one in six black men have been sexually assaulted as a child, a claim based on supposed research by author Robin D. Stone, author of No Secrets No Lies. I can't comment on the whole of the book, due to not having read this book, but I can express a level of wariness concerning these figures and its usage, especially in light of the attack by feminists and the propaganda of "street harrassment" "rape is about power and not about sex" and "rape culture", common phrases and terms used by feminists to demonize men. It coincides with the claim made by moderate feminist Christina Hoff Sommers, author of Who Stole Feminism, and The War On Boys, that a rape culture does not exist, but gender propaganda aimed at men and advocating laws that actually promote irrationality, double standards, and downright oppression of the opposite sex.

Afrika, Bill Cosby, or any other public Black male figure's personal issues should not be used in any sense to indict a collective group of men, especially when the advocacy comes from a celebrity gossip website, or any other crap the media pukes out. Unless that entity is implying that this indicative of ALL Black men, which Ebony and any other Black feminist or publication that focuses on women has tried to assert.

Creating hysteria and paranoia around one individual's allegations will do nothing for any community but hurt it tremendously, as it did with The War On Drugs, The War On Poverty, and The War On Terror.

Although I read this article after publishing the initial blog One Sick Puppy, it corroborates with every statement I made in the initial blog, of how a corrupt and mind warping media, mixing a few truths with a truckload of falsehoods, bent on sensationalism, and controlled by corporations and special interest groups preoccupied with propaganda, profits and power, can infect and corrupt an either unaware or uncaring public with lies and gossip, and how such an ignorant society can easily fall for such filth, and succumb to such nonsense that ultimately leads to suppression, and even genocide.

If you turn on the TV, all you see's a bunch of what-the-f***ks
Dude and dating so-and-so, blabbering 'bout such-and-such

And that ain't Jersey Shore, homey that's the news
And these the same people supposedly telling us the truth....

Bye Bye Black Sheep...Beyonce', The Police and the Panthers...Part One

Okay class,

Please excuse the delay in blogs, but let's skip the preliminaries and get down to business.

The name of this blog is by no means misleading, but sometimes you have to lay a foundation in order to build a case here. This blog is dedicated to the madness brought about by Beyonce's Super Bowl performance, the different police departments who somehow took this as a tribute to the Black Panthers, the Whites who somehow fear this invoked racial hostility and anarchy, the Blacks and Whites who actually believed this was a tribute to the Black Panthers and the Black Power Movement, movements mind you which are being attacked by feminists, which Beyonce claims to be, and those who believe this was a tribute to Black Empowerment.

Before we get started let's bring up word of the day...subversion

definition of subversion

Subversion refers to an attempt to transform the established social order and its structures of power, authority, and hierarchy. Subversion (Latin subvertere: overthrow) refers to a process by which the values and principles of a system in place are contradicted or reversed.

second definition of subversion. 1 : the act of subverting : the state of being subverted; especially : a systematic attempt to overthrow or undermine a government or political system by persons working secretly from within. 2 obsolete : a cause of overthrow or destruction.

Late last year I produced a video showing how Ebony magazine used subversive tactics in an attempt to undermine the traditional Black family, in which both parents are joined by marriage and how the father is usually the head of the household, another institution attacked by feminists. By using Bill Cosby's allegations of rape by multiple women as a pretext to insinuate that the fictitious character of Heathcliff Huxtable, the father figure on The Cosby Show, was actually one and the same, and therefore making both Bill and Dr. Huxtable inseparable, feminists/LGBT media like Ebony and The Root, as well as other lesser-known publications tried to create the narrative of the belligerent, volatile, and incompetent heterosexual Black man, and nullify his impact on all spectrums of society.

Due to the size of the file I was unable to upload it to my blog, so in the meantime, let me present a video of another case of subversion. In this case, an ex-KGB agent goes into detail of how the Communists used subversive propaganda against the West during the Cold War. I will definitely speak on the Beyonce' madness, but again, I felt I had to build a foundation here, instead of just chiming in on just the incident. It's more complex than what we're being fed. But for now, just marinate on this.

DISCLAIMER...Please do not mistake my showing of this video as having anything to do with Conservatism. I am not of either party.

Well Lookee Here!

Peace All! It's been a very trying time for me, dealing with delays and other things that dealt with my art,  along with other issues, and to be honest, it took a great toll on me. My blogging and my web presence suffered greatly, and burnout seeped in. I had blogs planned from Nicki  Minaj to Azealia Banks to Bill Cosby(again), but gotta take care of home first, meaning my personal life.Maybe call it dogged determination or faith, but I'm still at it. Just wanted to brief you on what's going on in my life, and the blogs will keep coming, God Willing. There's always something to blog about.

The above piece was a  12 x 12 that I went over in black about a couple of weeks ago. Didn't want to, especially with the texture, but I'm finding my art needs more space, and this was one of those pieces. I don't think I can define clearly what I want to express on a 12 x 12, so hopefully for future ideas, I'm keeping the photo.

Take care, more to come.

A Taste of His Own Medicine (Bill Cosby)

Peace all, know it's been a long time since actually posting a personal blog here, but I have my reasons. Amongst the hectic personal schedule I now find myself at somewhat a dilemna. Realizing that we have morphed into an image based society, mostly due to technological advances being heaped upon an unsuspecting mass of people, coupled with a fascination for celebrity status, I sometimes wonder if I should even continue with blogging, and opting more for vlogging and posting my vlogs on Youtube.

But I'm digressing. Right now I want to briefly touch on an individual that I spoke on previously, that is Bill Cosby, or Dr. Bill Cosby, pardon my manners again. You can check out that blog by clicking HERE.

Seems that Dr. Bill now finds himself in a quandry, being the subject of multiple allegations of sexual abuse/assault by women as far back as during the early 80's, the latest being from a former model who claims that he sexually assaulted her. This is nothing new mind you, for those who remember another post where I shared a brief video by Nikki Giovanni who went on a tangient about Dr. Bill, who seemed to have taken this "tough love" stance as some would call it against poor Blacks, who he, along with other middle class and other Blacks who feel we've actually progressed feel that the issues befallen on poor Blacks are the result of their own "ineptitude", and attacking their mannerisms.

Well now Dr. Bill may be getting a taste of his own medicine, seeing that he finds himself in the midst of sexual assault claims coming from far and wide, and in the wake of the Ray Rice incident, feminism (White Feminism mind you.) finds itself leading the charge against these injustices. Now it is reported that Dr. Bill has lost endorsements, and even the new TV show slated to premiere next year on NBC, whom Bill, or Dr. Bill, has had an enduring relationship with this network, seeing that his 1984 hit The Cosby Show (which by the way was initially turned down by ABC) helped NBC maintain a long standing status as the top network on TV, before Seinfeld,  before Friends, and before the advent of the Fox, WB, and UPN networks (which WB and UPN combined and became the CW Network respectively.) Dr. Bill's success on NBC allowed him to even produce a spin-off from his original show, A Different World, which initially starred Lisa Bonet, who was reportedly released from The Cosby Show, after Dr. Bill's disenchantment of Lisa's behavior, especially in a role in the 1987 movie Angel Heart.

NBC was so grateful of Dr. Bill's contribution to their success, they even helped promote his 2007 literary piece on Meet The Press entitled Come On People: On the Path from Victims to Victors, a book co-written by his longtime "consultant" on The Cosby Show, Dr. Alvin Poussaint, who is a practicing psychiatrist. How's that for propaganda?   The book, along with his popular rants, peaking in the 2004 NAACP address, divided the lines in Black society between those who feel that Blacks have made strides, mainly due to the Civil Rights "victories" and those who sensed that structural racism still exists, disenfranchising many African Americans, and creating a permanent underclass of people with no recourse of action to either reclaim dignity or justice lost. Now with a person who identifies himself as a Black man in the White House, those voiceless people who felt the sting of the Black Bourgeoisie's tongue against them have even a harder time trying to convince their Black middle class compatriots that structural racism is still a hindrance to the advancement of Black people, coupled with the Black middle class' denial or cowardliness, and the recent killings of Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, John Crawford, Ezell Ford and others at the hand of vigilantes and rogue police, the future of Black America doesn't seem to be too bright.

Thanks for your contribution, Dr. Bill.

So my thoughts on the situation? Well, as Brother Malcolm (Al Hajj Malik Al-Shabazz) stated in reference to JFK's assassination, it's the results of "the chicken's coming home to roost". The climate that Dr. Bill created with his rants, which were backed by pundits in the so called "Black Press" and presented in the mainstream press as "news", along with his TV show, with his tap dancing around contemporary issues among Black people for fear of as he would put it "reinforcing stereotypes", polarized contemporary Black society, and helped to subside Whites' guilt about living in a society where Race determines social status and upward mobility. He has no remorse for the propaganda he and his partner-in-crime Dr. Poussaint spreaded, which in a book entitled Enlightened Racism: The Cosby Show, Audiences, and the Myth of the American Dream by Sut Jhally shows that results of the show did not actually introduce positive Black family models, but rather confirmed White's insistences that structural racism did not exist, and that Blacks' failure to achieve the American Dream were due to their own inability to "pull up their bootstraps". Now that the shoe seems to be on the other foot, I wonder if Dr. Bill will wake up and wise up?

As far as the allegations go, I don't comment on those, for all I know those are at this point merely "allegations". The biggest problem that I have with the allegations is that they have a tendency to destroy credibility of a person's position on important topics. While Dr. Bill did stress personal accountability and attacked the personal behavior of poor Blacks, his denial of the impact of structural racism and White Supremacy still remains the focal point of discussion, at least in my opinion. Guilty or not of the allegations, the propaganda of poor Blacks that shaped public opinion is what's worth discussing here because it's the same stuff that's pushed by the likes of Oprah, Obama, Charles Barkley, and any other Black person with more than five dollars in their pocket and a token position. Despite a constant barrage of evidence that would suggest otherwise, like multiple video footage of Blacks being killed with no recourse, and the rising discrimination suits that go unheard or unattended to, some of us still harbor this erroneous belief that these things are the result of Blacks' failure and inferiority. It is this that I wish to contend with, and not someone's apparent personal hypocrisy and shortcomings.

But I know some people are going to get their kicks out of these allegations and their impact on his reputation and future endeavors. And while it is tempting to throw egg in the man's face, I must stay focused on the real issues. The ones that affect all of us.

But in closing I have one more thing to say......HA!

Peace....www.qartworks.com

What's The Deal Bill? The War Between The Others And The Others Pt. 1

This is the first of a series of sad but true stories of what happens when those who represent the minorities of America feel that they've made some accomplishments, which results in them blaming the majority of those who've suffered from structural racism and White supremacy in America as "inept" and "inferior".

I begin this series with Bill Cosby, or Dr. William H. Cosby, sorry for my blatant disrespect. Somehow this man keeps popping up in the media, beit corporate or the Black media, with the usual rant about how poor Blacks(note his rants are against one section of people) are not holding up their end of the bargain, or selling short on the Civil Rights movement. It's gotten to a point where I cringe everytime I hear or see this man's name, because I know it's not going to be good, because it's obvious that Bill, or Dr. Bill has a serious connection problem with lower class Black people.

Growing up I watched Fat Albert and The Cosby Kids religiously, as well as The Cosby Show and A Different World in my later years. Like most people, I didn't know then what I know now, which is the fact Dr. Bill is participating in a sinister war of various implications, not just on race relations, but a class war as well. How is that you ask? By not honing in on society's ills which affect its constituency, and ranting on and on about personal behavior issues, Dr. Bill, like others who feel that Blacks have progressed, places the blame solely on the individual, or in this sense, since we're talking about Black people we have to discuss the "group collective" or the double-standard that we place on each other that the actions of one or even a few Blacks represent THE WHOLE RACE.

I didn't know the hidden subtleties that were inserted inside these shows, such as the lack of racial identity or the lack of approaching social issues that affected Blacks. Bill, oh sorry, I mean Dr. Bill, did not want to have a show which reflected the usual racial stereotypes as he put it, meaning The Cosby Show was not to reflect the realities of America then and now, which is why we never saw an episode where neither Theo or Elvin were profiled by the police, nor any of the kids being ridiculed about their hair, race, nor in any instance did we see any poor Blacks on his show, except the time when Elvin and Sondra leaves school and try their hand at owning a wilderness shop. Eventually Elvin comes to his senses and decides to re enter college...Ho hum...

That was another subtle theme that was inserted in these shows, this need to go to college in order to guarantee oneself a job in the mainstream. We were pummeled with these scenarios from Elvin and Sondra leaving school, only to come to their senses to Denise leaving school, going to Africa and getting married, only to come back to school in the end. The series ended with Theo graduating from college, overcoming his dyslexia and his slackness in his youth. To this day this idea is still being pushed into the minds of Black youth as the salvation of the race, although White students are growing more and more frustrated with the rising costs of tuition, the never ending student loan issue, which is now in the billion dollar range, and the lack of jobs one discovers after they've graduated. But Bill, I mean Dr. Bill and others in the Black middle class swears by this notion that a college degree will guarantee you a slot somewhere in the American Dream.  Even if his doctorate degree was the result of  simply submitting a thesis about the importance of using Fat Albert and The Cosby Kids as a learning tool...whoopee...

Is this a subtle hint that being poor and uneducated is attributed to attitude or drive? Of being of inferior stock? So poor people are not dignified in any sense? This was the ultimate exhibition of Black middle class fantasy, in which the cries of the poor, downtrodden and destitute are completely ignored, as well as propagating the notion that the Civil Rights movement was the right course for African Americans to take, to not rock the boat and ask for justice and independence, but to ask to be included in a system that became rich from theft,  exploitation and oppression. As usual with these assimilationists, a  tribute was given to Dr. King, which symbolized assimilation and intergration and so called nonviolence, but not to Malcolm X or any of the Black Power movement participants.

All of this was being broadcast during the height of Reaganomics and the Bush era, when social programs were cut, Black women were being targeted as welfare queens, drugs all of a sudden started appearing in the hood, wrecking families and communities, sending families scurrying in different directions, most of them having a negative end with either death or prison being the end result.  Then you had the Iran/Contra scandal, with Reagan disavowing any knowledge of the issue, jobs were cut, the rich got richer and the poor got poorer. You will be hard pressed to find a Black Democrat who will disagree with this notion, so how is it now easy to believe this man's tirades about people who were the victims of these dilemnas?

Now A Different World was different in that it somewhat spoke of the issues facing a so called Black college, but it was not really a different world when you look at it more closely,  Dwayne Wayne, a homeboy from the streets of New York falls in love with a light-skinned, gentille southern Belle name Whitley Gilbert, who was materialistic to say the least, yet in the end she gets her way,  anyone who represented the counterculture was mocked, whether it was Freddie the hippie, Shaza Zulu, the pseudo Afrocentric who can't seem to graduate, to Terrence Taylor, who becomes Muslim, but you don't really know what he believes, due of the ambiguous way the teachings of Islam were handled by the show. It gave you the impression that to be a Muslim was all about freeing oneself from the oppression of the White man, ala the Nation of Islam, but I won't get into specifics with this right now. In the final season, Freddie gets rid of the hippie look, straightens out her hair, and joins the system and tells Lena(played by Jada Pinkett Smith) that she's going to assimilate into the system with the hopes of changing the system....Such delusion...Again this show gives a tribute to Dr. King and the Civil Rights movement, and pushes the constant barrage of vote, vote, vote, even with Rev. Jesse Jackson making an appearance on one episode.

So while The Cosby Show stayed away from racial politics of any sort, A Different World grazed those issues, but in an assimilationist fashion.

So in reality both shows were just as much propagandist in nature as any other show on television. This time it was for middle class Blacks. And in many cases it worked, due to the lack of approaching racial politics among everyday life for Blacks, especially the ones who don't make it to college for whatever reasons. But in tap dancing around those issues, it created the sense in White people that White supremacy and privilege doesn't really exist, and Blacks are just victimizing themselves, asking for handouts.

Then there's the issue of Dr. Alvin Poussaint, who acted as the consultant for the two latter of Dr. Bill's shows, as well as co-written a book with Dr. Bill entitled C'mon On People...aimed at who? Poor Blacks of course. But just who is Dr. Alvin Poussaint? Well he's a psychiatrist from....

Hold up...Hold up...HOOOOOLD UPPP!

Dost thou not smelleth something fishy in thy nostrils?

What's the relationship between a psychiatrist and a sitcom? There shouldn't be any, at least until you read the book The Hidden Persuaders by Vance Packard, and begin to make the connection.

The symbol manipulators and their research advisers have developed their depth views of us by sitting at the feet of psychiatrists and social scientists (particularly psychologists and sociologists) who have been hiring themselves out as "practical" consultants or setting up their own research firms. Pg 34

Dr. Poussaint's take on the working relationship was that he was commisioned to go through the scripts, because the majority of the writers were WHITE, and make sure that there were no nuances or hints of racial stereotyping in the script. Sounds pretty decent right? Dr. Poussaint has openly admitted that many of the Whites in Hollywood are racist, but he only says that within the confines of other cohorts who make that claim as well. I don't recall any real discussion on any major network, including Dr. Bill's favorite network, NBC, about the racism in Hollywood. In a discussion entitled Mickey Mouse Monopoly: Disney, Childhood and Corporate Power, he had this to say:

I worked in media and often I was surprised. Sometimes very intelligent, mostly white writers, college graduates, held stereotypes about a lot of people. When they wrote them into stories they would write it in a stereotypic point of view. It's like they didn't know any other way to write it. Because frequently they were not involved in a social personal way with Blacks, Latinos or Asian-Americans. And so when they had to write something about them, they had to draw on what they knew and frequently what they knew was what they picked up from the media and frequently that was stereotypical.

Regarding the Disney cartoon moive Tarzan: ...Kids in Africa see it. They see a white man in African who is superior, swinging from trees to trees, they see no Africans. They see gorillas being the ones they relate to. What does it mean to an African child? Is it promoting white supremacy to these Black African children who watch Tarzan in a movie theater in Africa? Of course it will, and it might be promoting it around the world.

So basically you have this actor who realizes the power of the media in brainwashing and mind manipulation, so much so that he would employ a Black psychiatrist to check the scripts and red flag any nuances that may refer to racial stereotyping, but yet his books and public tirades are hurled against the Black victims? Why do the both of them continue to work together and write books together slamming the actions of the victim, but not notate in public the actions of the aggressor? Do you see my point?

The only time I heard him rail against any actors were against the likes of Martin Lawrence and Jamie Foxx for their impersonations of Shenehneh and Ugly Wanda, but now I don't even hear that against the likes of Tyler Perry and his Madea impersonations, and Tyler CONTINUES to use this schtick, which has helped make him into arguably the most successful Black male actor/producer in history, but yet there's no tirade against him? What's the deal, Bill? Why not speak against the actors of today? Why not speak against Lupita's role in 12 Years A Slave, or any of these other roles that were meant to demean and stereotype Blacks, like you did Lisa Bonet when she did Angel Heart?

Surely they are educated enough to know the sordid history of Hollywood and the Academy Awards. http://realquwwa.blogspot.com/2014/03/my-baloney-has-first-nameits-o-s-c-r.html Isn't it obvious that these two men, who strut around wearing their doctor titles and claim to be educated, should know that the actions of the poor Blacks are no different than those of Whites during the Depression.? Were they not fighting over alcohol? Were there not White gangsters during that time?  I mean Al Capone wasn't Black to my recollection. And the likes of him were ABOVE THE LAW. Where is it written that the actions of Whites during the Depression were any different? Was crime lesser with them? Where is their evidence which points to the discrepancies among poor Blacks as opposed to poor Whites? Were domestic abuse and prostitution any less with them? Didn't they use dance marathons, drugs, movies and gambling as a means of escape as well? Were the spending habits of poor Whites any different? If so, then why would an executive make this statement, also contained in the book The Hidden Persuaders:

"We can sell these people refrigerators. They may not have room for them, and they will put them on the front porch. They will buy a big automobile and all the luxuries, but they never move up the scale."
—Chicago ad executive, at a forum on lower-class buying habits

Surely both men should know these things, unless their degrees are only symbolic,  or they are playing the role of "not biting the hand that feeds them", or they are willingly playing a game with people's minds, and engaging in engineering consent of genocide and elimination of the poor and downtrodden masses of Black people.

Now there's word of a new sitcom starring this man slated for possibly the 2014 fall season. One only knows what type of tricks this man has up his sleeves now. My best suggestion is that he quits while he thinks he's ahead.
