Random Thought

Thought of the Day...My neighbor across the street from me lost a child last week...only 11 years old...died of an asthma attack in her sleep...Broke my heart. I don't know all of the details behind how that happened nor do I want to know, however I know this much.  African American community kids are more likely to develop asthma and other respiratory diseases than any other ethnic group, yet not too many people seem to know how, or most doctors I've faced won't tell the truth. A lot of it is due to socio-economic reasons, but smoking is also a major issue that most don't want to touch. And in all honesty, the way I've seen some Black people smoke, beit marijuana or cigarettes or those funky fruit-flavored cigars, I don't see any reason for decline for Black babies developing asthma anytime soon. While riding the train yesterday a young man with his son stepped on board, and the young man reeked of marijuana, yet this little boy wouldn't stop crying. I thought to myself he could be crying because of the smell he had to endure... I'm speaking of this issue because a few years back a local children's hospital was running laboratory tests and such on Black kids, claiming to be conducting "research" to determine how could Black youth contract asthma more than any other ethnic group in America. As if they really don't know. Anyway that's all I have to say, because if I say anymore, the way people's thought processes have been hampered, many will take offense and put on their ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME shirts, and spew all kinds of names, when all you're doing is bringing an issue to the forefront .

Q crashes da gallery!

Peace all...had a great weekend crashing the South Dallas Cultural Center's opening. This opening featured two amazing women artists, Janice Thacker and Kijana Martin, who lives in the DFW area. This being women's month we were served with a double dose of thought provoking art. Janice Thacker, whom I met a couple of years ago, has some of the most amazing acrylic paintings, where the people are outlined in markers, as she described to me in the first meeting. She also has some great work with poetry included about the struggles and tribulations from slavery. I hope to go back and photograph some of those pics asap.

I met Kijana Martin at the reception, and the picture that caught my attention is a two piece presentation centering around the death of Cicely Bolden, a young lady who lived in my area who was murdered last year after telling her lover after having sex with him that she had the AIDS virus. She leaves behind two small children, and this tragedy has a lot of twists and turns included, however Ms. Martin wanted to touch on the subject of tragedy, but also learning the lessons, accountability of one's own actions, and making choices that maybe can prevent future tragedies from occurring. The second part is entitled Shattered, giving the viewer an opportunity to look at a broken mirror, which shows how making the wrong choices can destroy dreams and lives. I went home thinking about this piece especially, and hopefully in the near future, I'm going to find a way to present it in maybe a joint exhibit, or whatever. The most important part of thought provoking art is to get it out there and start dialogue.

Originally I intended to crash two openings that weekend, but sometimes things get in the way. I found myself talking both of these artists' ears off, and with the St. Patricks' weekend jamming up downtown and traffic, I settled with just this one opening this time. But I have no regrets.

Take care...Q has just started...

All I'm asking....R-E-S-P-E-C-T!!!

Peace all,
Hoping that this blog reaches everyone in great health and spirits. I know it's been awhile since blogging, but all of my social media has suffered as well, especially Twitter and Blogger. In reality all of this networking became a serious burnout and a source of depression for me after releasing some of artwork to the public to little or no response. I felt that I was doing something wrong, and that people weren't getting what I was trying to convey to the public, as well as people were being somewhat finicky and sometimes downright disrespectful in my work. Take for example last month a "fellow artist" came to my local library, saw my work and loved one of my pieces, and wanted to purchase it. I made the mistake of asking how much she thought it was worth, and she replied that she didn't want to disrespect me, but told me $100. This was for one of my prize pieces that everyone seems to like and related to. I felt disrespected, but regardless I asked could she pay $200(which is STILL lowballing) and she stated she would have to save up. I told her no problem, gave her a card, and tried to make it accessible for her to purchase it. She emails me a week later saying she can't do the $200, and tried to negotiate again for $100. With that I refused to reply to her at all. Lesson learned... I'm realizing there is more to this thing than meets the eye, but I won't go into it right now. My spirit is now starting to rejuvenate to the point where I'm enjoying what I do again and go out to just shoot pictures and do more artwork. This was not a positive summer to say the least, but I hope things will pick up for me. This coming Sunday some of my work will be on display and for sale at an art fair in Dallas. I won't be present due to other priorities, but someone is going to display it for me. I hope that I will spark some type of interest when it's all said and done. I hope to be back real soon to talk about my next exhibit and the meaning behind it, so stay tuned family. Take care! Luv Ya!

Just For Kicks!

Peace all...

Hmmm...it's 8:34 in the morning, got a new mixed media project I'm waiting to dry(textures can be soooo funnnn!) and I needs my bowl of cereal! Found the Granola at the store, and it's time to dig in!

Anyway, this small bloggie is dedicated to twelve of the most important individuals a person can ever have...Yeah that's right, the infamous ten toes and two feet. I mean without them one can not run, walk, jump, kick somebody in the booty, or any of those marvellous pastimes without some assistance from technology, which just doesn't have that natural feel, especially when it comes to kicking somebody in the BOOTY!

Anyway my high-top Adidas went sour on me, after travelling several miles on foot...Soooooooooo. I had to get some more comfortable shoes, realizing shoes made for basketball just don't cut it when it comes to walking...I think I now know the difference....LOL

Anyway check out these shiny discoesque running shoes I paid for. Although some say the shoes are not that bad, I felt uncomfortable putting these shiny shoes on, and developed nicknames like nickelfeet...lol

Well after putting them on one time I felt the difference...So it maybe goodbye basketball shoes and hello running and walking shoes...At least until I get on the court....Do yourself a favor...Treat yo' toesies right! Peace.

Back on my BEAT!

Peace All,

Sometimes you have to play the game injured! And that's exactly what I'm doing now, taking pictures of reconstruction in progress on a bum hip that I hurt, or should I say reaggravated while doing laundry last weekend. This sucka hurts soo much that raising my back while getting outta my bed is excruciating! Yet I got my gameface on, and the camera's in the bag and snap city is now in session! Although I can't quite sit up in a continuous manner to draw anything, I took the opportunity to venture outside and WHOA! SNOW!

News Flash! Snow in Texas! Again! Not as bad as last year when I woke up only to find a large branch resting comfortably on my car! LOL

I took my injured behind outside and walked 'til my heart was content. It's something about snow that makes the whole neighborhood seem so quiet and peaceful. I thought about things and new approaches to my work.

In the evening time I'm relaxing with different teas mixed with Green Tea. Today it was cups of Ginger Twist and Peppermint mixed with Green Tea. I'm sorta going back to my old ways of relaxing with teas, getting into a certain relaxed mood. Plus I'm getting my Kefir on, getting different flavors to keep it interesting. It was a very important part of my regiment in my quest to get back into tip-top shape...

Taking things one day at a time and one step at a time. Getting back into the flow.

Take care all...

PARTY TIME!!!!

Peace all...

Thinking back to the mid '90s, I can recall getting so excited about the upcoming family vacation to Disneyland. We saved our money to get the tickets, packed clothes and snacks, rented vans for the long road trip, took the scenic route (Very scenic when we got around Mississippi....lol), the whole nine yards. Rented some condos around Kissimmee, Florida, yeah, we were about to do it up Mickey style. But when the vacation was over, as far as me and my uncle, all we did was go half on a pizza, watch cable, fed the begging ducks who surrounded us at the park bench and sat around the condo while everyone else went to Dizzinyland (incorrect spelling intended). Many people looked at that as wasting money, but looking back I thoroughly enjoyed it, and look at it as one of the most memorable vacations I had ever taken, almost topping that time when my family went to Fiesta Texas and I spent a good portion of the time tormenting those little kids on the bumper cars !!!

Well, Q had to take another one of those wander-off-somewhere-for-no-reason-at-all vacations. Just hopped up, left town and stayed away from it all. Destination not important, and I have no pictures of me with balloons or riding on the roller coaster, no pics of me piggin out at the local restaurant, or running thru the beach like some crazed lunatic to splurge to my fans, none of that! Yes, again I just got away from it all, watched tv, and ate. Yeah, I had some other things planned, but they fell threw, and I did not pitch one hissy over it either, I got the rest that I needed, and now I am refocused.

Some people again thought, ok, you could have done this at home. Really? Sometimes you have to get away from familiarity, but we think getting away means camera, film, the whole nine, now we bring blackberries, and all kinds of things to the vacation, then complain about still needed rest. But I look at it this way, why should I paint the town like a madman, only to come back tired, still complaining of lack of rest just to say "I had big fun?" For the past 3 years, no make that 8 years I have been on a serious rollercoaster ride. Unemployed, stressed, starving, disputes, you name it. This was the first week I had the opportunity to just sit up and do nothing. No facebook, no art, no blog, Nuthin! Just got away from it all. Some people think a vacation or going out of town means non stop partying, whoopin it up, Disco Duck style! lol.... I'm the type that likes to take it down, especially after spending the past couple of months unhealthy and totally stressed out from dealing with this no account job I had. So my apologies to everyone for not bombarding my blogs or facebook with pictures and events of my vacation....But I had fun, and will do it again soon.....That is...

unless I see some little kids drivin' bumper cars ..... MWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA!

Take care all!

When The Shoe........(IS THIS MIC ON?)

Peace everybody,

It's 8:19pm, and I am wrapping up the art part of my week(sigh) to get back to this other part.....(more sigh)....

Anyway I have a few more things in store so stay tuned....But in the meantime while thumbing thru the blogs that I removed from the other site, I ran across this one about the swine flu and the attitudes of the American public, which seemed to have been one of jokes and puns about pigs and swine and pork, and the list goes on. Now that the shoe seems to be on the other foot, what is the attitude of Americans now? Where are the jokes now people? HELLOOOO!!! IS THIS MIC ON?!!!

Arrogance is a mutha..... The thing about arrogance is that the person does not seem to get the fact that he/she is arrogant.

Here is the edited version of the blog....Peace y'all. Love ya.

The Worst Kind of Death

Peace y'all

I know it's been a loooooong time( well actually a month is not THAT long) but when you start something, you would like to finish it. I started this blogging thing on my site, made some friends and contacts, and in the process people also got a chance to see another side of what I be(lol). I have been a very busy camper the past few weeks and blogging has been on my mind. Trust me, there are PLENTY of things to talk about, but not to the point of stopping my painting and just putting my feelings out there. That is until I saw this stupid picture from an email sent to me at work.

To me this is indicative of what this country is about. Arrogance and ignorance. No one can deny that the people in America have good qualities, but for a person on the outside looking in what does he/she see? Out of the hundreds of people in Mexico who lost a loved one to "swine flu" how does it feel to listen or see Americans make jokes about a tragedy?

The past couple of weeks we were bombarded at home or at the workplace with either fears of a pandemic, or jokes that reek of "better them that us" . I was hit with both, as people at work people joked of the swine flu, some people made insensitive comments about Mexicans( but hey I ain't got a racist bone in body!) Then I checked Twitter only to see people with same stupid jokes such as "swine flu is the past tense of pigs fly" nonsense. This past week on an all-talk sex(sorry) sports radio show some idiot went on and on with a barrage of swine flu jokes. But when the shoe was on the other foot, such as the Dallas Cowboy employee who is now permanently paralyzed as a result of the practice facility collasping in Valley Ranch, we heard no jokes, instead I heard "it is sooo tragic." So let me get this straight. One American permanently paralyzed is tragic, but 200 Mexicans dying from the flu is a new monologue for any stoopid wannabe comic, or village idiot.

That's us ain't it America? Make jokes of other countries' cultures, tragedies, still calling them Third World Countries( as if there are no ghettoes or poor people living under bridges and in tents in America) Yet when we hear comments from other countries about problems in America we blow a fuse. We go into this state of denial. For example we hear about rowdy, drunken fans who tear up the city after a Super Bowl or Championship match and immediately drum up riots in London after soccer games to minimize the fact that this country has a serious maturity issue. Our favorite TV shows are CARTOONS like South Park with old goats doing little kid voiceovers, The Family Guy, the Simpsons, my God, FOX TV at one point had a Sunday prime time lineup of CARTOONS (oh but they are for "mature audiences only).

Give me a break.....

Our denials remind me of a drunkard who swears up and down that he does not have a problem, and if he did have a problem he could quit at any moment. Like I just said.....Give me a break.

While the American people make jokes about diseases in other countries we should be very scared. Our habits, oh sorry, our "precious free way of life" has produced everything from breast cancer, fibroids, lung cancer to STD's and even impotence(but hey thank God for Viagra!) We forgot about Desert Storm fever( and for a long time the government forgot also) and the growing rate of autism found in kids from being poked over 50-60 times before they reach the age of 4 or 5 with vaccines that don't work. We have the largest rate of suicides in any "industrialized" nation, but we want other nations to be "industrialized" like us. The rate of Alzheimers and other forms of dementia in this country is staggering.

News Flash: Alzheimers is not a natural process of growing old.

Stress should be our middle name.

While those few hundreds of Mexicans die quickly from swine flu, millions of Americans die from the worst form of death, a slow torturous death. The worst part is to die and not even know your dying. To be a victim of your own undoing. To revel in your own ignorance.

But hey!! God Bless America right? More like God Help America.

Baby cost BUCKS!!!(Life in Marvelous Times)

Peace Yo,

It is 2:24pm and it is HOT OUT HERE!!!

I have a blog coming up but I thought I would send this interesting article out to all of my friends here in Blogland. Take a look at this doozy about the cost of having a baby in America without any means of insurance.

Who would have thought in this so-called "Land of Opportunity" one can be punished for simply being self-employed? Who would have thought that if we choose not to work for the slavemaster corporate conglomerates we give up our God given rights to produce and raise children simply because it "costs too much?" That in this "Land of milk and honey a couple who chooses to raise a family has to think about the cost of raising kids rather than the joy of raising kids?

I've always complained that doctors are like mechanics, they cost too much and they don't fix the problem. Well, this does not help me to change my mind at all. In a land where one CEO of Big Pharma earned over $100 million in profits ALONE and another hundred million in stock returns, one would think that in this land healthcare would not be an issue, but I guess I'm wrong, huh? And don't tell me anything about politicians and promises! As Malcolm X used to stated in a lecture once " All you get is the bill!!!" I am so tired of bills laying on politicians tables that we all know will never be passed...

Anyway, thanks to my Twitter friend @siditty for hookin' a brotha up with this article. And thanks to all of the new people who just hooked up with my site. I do read comments and I do respond...

Take care y'all....Luv ya QUWWA

VICTORY!!!

"The Victory is almost here, it's like we oh so near, but the object is to show no fear."

Peace yo,

That's a line from a song written by Craig G and KRS ONE. But for me I would definitely count this past weekend as a victory. Why you ask? This past weekend I submitted five works to a juried exhibition to be held this August. The results will be made May 15th. I am nervous but excited. The reason why I counted this as a victory is because this same time last year I made excuses as to why I did not submit anything. I knew the event was coming but procrastination and maybe even fear prevented me from exposing my art.

But this year was much different. I guess I can call it a sense of urgency. To tell the truth I am bushed from all of the work, but I feel as if I am running on pure adrenaline now, no energy drinks(yay for me) and no caffeine, just pure excitement. I had planned to put some of my older works in the package, but I felt it would make me look one dimensional as a lot of my older works deal with the homeless. These two pictures included in this blog are an attempt to attain a little more diversity as they deal with emotions. I have others in the works but these came to mind. The first piece I called "This feeling" and the second is called "Always something" Both were completed in the course of two days. Yes y'all, I works hard and fast when it comes to my expression. Not much time is spent which is fine with me, I like minimalism. That explains me, nothing fancy, just a subject and predicate(lol)

I was very nervous, and forgot to include contact information and a resume(as if I have one to begin with) with my package but the director gave me a card with contact information and assured me that a resume is only referential, and this exhibition's primary purpose is to gain exposure for new and up and coming artist. YEAH!!! That fits me to a tea!!! I only have GOD to thank for this, for giving me the courage to even go and make an attempt. I realize that all He asks for is to make the attempt,to show your sincerity, and He will do the rest. I am a firm believer in that.

BTW, My sister left the hospital this past Tuesday, and I went to visit her Friday. She is doing better by the moment. My prayers are with her to get back in the classroom and do her thang, as she is a teacher who helps young single mothers obtain their high school diploma. My mom informed me some of the students came to visit her and told her they did not go back to class after she left. My sister in her limited speech told them to go back. She has really inspired them and her strength inspires me too.

Thanks to all of the well wishers and new followers of my blog. You do not know how much I love you for your prayers and encouragement.

Love you and take care y'all, we are just getting started up in here!!!

Now it's time to go to SLEEP!!

UPLIFTED!!!

Peace Yo!!

Check the clock. 8:56pm. Whatcha doing? Blogging, what it look like(lol)? Thought you were gonna lay off for the rest of the week? I was, but I went to check on my sister today, and it was very inspiring to see her sitting up in her bed, smiling as more loved ones came to visit her.

Oh, my bad, for those who don't know(like those on Blogger(lol) this past week I was rocked hard when I received news that my sister suffered a stroke. This past Tuesday my sister was not feeling very good, but no one knew what was going on at the school where she worked. They knew her as a cheerful person who spoke to everyone, but even her students complained to other faculty that something was wrong with her. People came to try to speak with her, but she would not respond. In the middle of the day, she just got up and left the job. She drove home, which is a 30-35 minute drive from Richardson to her house. While driving home she called my mom, but could not say anything, but make grunting noises. When my mom told me this, all I could do is praise GOD for only His protection(Al Hafidh)preserved her from being found somewhere in another city, not having a clue of what happened.

When she got home her daughters(my nieces) thought nothing of it, but when she sat down, they knew something was wrong because she said nothing and began to look at the house as if she did not know why she came there. One of my nieces began crying when she asked my sister if she knew who she was, in which there was no response.

The day after they admitted her, I came to see her, and all she could do was nod her head and say yes. I told her I loved her, and she just nodded and said yes. She tried to say I love you, but she could not say it , so I told her I know. I went back to my mom and immediately began crying. My mom said that if she said yes to you, that was progress.

I went to see her today and was happy to see her smiling, as one of her friends was combing her hair. She is still having a hard time putting words and sentences together, but she is a fighter. Always been. Through being a single mom with two kids and absolutely no help from a sorry a** ex-husband who wouldn't take care of his own seed.

We have that kind of bond that makes me ask her if she or the kids need anything, and make sure that they do not have need. She is not poor or anything, but I was raised to make sure the womenfolk in my family had no need for anything. I carry that now more than ever, as my father passed in 2004.

I did this picture for her about 2 years ago. I can't even make prints for this, she won't let me(talk about copyrights(lol) but it's cool. I'm reminded of her when I see this picture.

Take care y'all, and thanx to all of those who joined my blog, sent well wishes as well as my dear Sister in the Arts Shannon Grissom, who continues to show her generosity and love and appreciation for the arts. This week I am a featured member on Give Your Walls Some Soul. This is another site that I enjoy being a part of. More on this later. Love Ya!!!!

Can't keep a good man down.....

Peace yo!!!!

Check the watch, 4:14pm. Watcha doing? Brainstorming. Bout what? Lotta Stuff. Stuff like what? Oh the usual, life, art, art, life, Fish, oops sorry, kinda hungry(lol)

Anyways, things are picking up here at the lab, especially since hitting up the Give Your Wall Some Soul site. Picked up a few friends along the way, fantastic works abound. Jumped in the middle of some deeped out conversations, even revealed a little scooch about myself. Really picked up the spirits and rejuvenated me. So now I sitting here with some Craig Mack jackin' up the eardrums. Jockin' MY STYYLLLE BOOOOYYYYEEEE HAAAH!!!

Got some things planned this weekend. Got my airbrush back this weekend, and now I have a heat press......it's gone be hot up in here this weekend. Got some deeped out blogs on the way too, but I put them on the backburner cause I'm kinda bugging over this natural buzz I'm on now.

It was very much needed. These past weeks were torture on my mental, and I am the first to admit that I can experience some spats of depression. I don't reveal much about myself except those around my personal huddle(which seems to decrease as time goes on), but one thing I don't do is fake it up with people. I smile so much most of the time most people never know if something is going on with me, but I learned as I get older to be honest with myself and others. So now when people ask me if I'm ok I'll tell them straight up "NO" but it goes no further that. Take this past Tuesday, my co-worker ask me how was I doing, I told him, I'm okay. He figured something was wrong with me, in which it was, but I knew that problems I had he could not help me out with, so I just told him I'm okay, but after I told him that I felt better. At my age for me to sit here and fake a smile while my inner is going outer, or should I say my actions are obviously contradicting my statements is ridiculous. Face your problems head on, I guarantee you your life will be so fulfilling and drug-free, and you will have mucho energy you won't be able to sit still. Like me, JOCKIN' MY STYYYYYLLE BOOYYYEEEE HAAAA! sorry, but this is bangin.

It's ok to be sad sometimes and even depressed, and those who have not experienced these emotions have not lived long enough. It's not whether you become sad, down on yourself or depressed, but like my friend MS. BIZZY says how do you deal with it? Will you deal with it? But just remember life goes on, get back in there and slug it out and make sure God is in your corner. And listen to His Coaching for a change. He(Al-Aleem) knows what He's talking about.

Peace....

A Little Sumthin' Diff'rent

Peace Y'all,

My health is deteriorating again, but you've heard that song before right? Some of us never learn when to sit down!(lol)

It's 9:26am, and I'm trying this again. I posted this blog last night, but somehow, someway it disappeared. Anyway it is a beautiful poem about overcoming adversity in life. I try not overburden my friends with some people call "Doom and Gloom" although it is essential to remind people about the life we are living, and the society we are living in. It's great to hear any type of consolation and encouragement from people, and part of the Quwwa Project is to accept contributions from any positive and truthful source. I told you I was an information addict, and I will stop by anybody's site and pick from the smorgasbord of information. Just ask Wild Peach, Freely Speaking and others.

It is a poem entitled The Monkey Wrench, and the sister who was very kind to allow me to JACK- I'm sorry, I mean reprint this has a website and a blog entitled Yarncoture. It is copywritten so any requests to reprint this should be directed to her blog.

The MoNkEy WrenCH (poetry from the soul...)
I want to hip you all up to this thing called the monkey wrench;
No one knows what it looks like or when it will hit but
when it hits you just get sick.
Your stomach is churning and turning and your soul is yearning for relief.
The gears in your mind are crashing and clacking while the monkey wrench continues to jam them...
You say to yourself "how could this be?? how could this happen to me??..ME!!!"

But you see, the monkey wrench has a plan to win;
to defeat you...it will treat you like a fool: you know, the fool that everyone thinks that you are...
By far, you are no fool and also have a plan.
Never fall in the same hole twice...it has been said!
If you let the monkey wrench's power overtake you, you'll be dead..
Your heart will cry in grief and your soul will scream for mercy over the monkey wrench's controversy and your mind will be spent.
What?? My plan, you ask? It is quite simple you see..

Patience is the key, you see..
In order for the monkey wrench's plan to work it must enrage you,
enough to make you act like a lion that's been locked up in a cage with no meat.
You see, you must stay calm...cool as a cucumber....don't let 'em see you sweat.
Always have a back-up plan, a frozen dinner waiting in the freezer, an extra change of clothes or whatever! Just prepare yourself for the monkey wrench's arrival...it's not fear, it's just survival!
Don't act like the lion in the cage; when let loose it devours everything in sight.
Believe me when I tell you, I understand your plight.
FIGHT with intelligence..FIGHT with strong character...FIGHT with dignity...
Only the posessor of these qualities will defeat the monkey wrench, you see...
Victory is yours and YES you have defeated it and only the foolish will flee and succumb to the monkey wrench's power. But it will be back! It will continue to test Man until the HOUR...

...until the next time...

Everything Has Its Rights(Lessons Learned!!!)

Peace y'all

It's 11:44am on a Tuesday morning, I am usually at work stressing out, but due to a change up in scheduling last week, I had to work last Saturday, which I am usually off. This could not come at a better time, because it gives me a chance to rest up(yeah right!!!)

This past week was so overwhelming for me as an outpour of comments hit my Iseecolor page, as well as this page. I can't believe that someone has "tagged" me. So I have to come up with 7 things about myself. Very interesting. I count it as a blessing that someone wants to know about me.

But this past week I made a huge mistake. I made promises that I was not able to keep, and left a lot of people with unanswered email, and a blog that has yet to be presented. Although people told me to take my time and let it flow, I pressed myself so much, that my severe cold resurfaced. I told my friends I will have a blog by last weekend, which was one of many promises made, in addition to racking my body and brain with a hectic on the go schedule, so as Sunday approached, I felt my chest tightening up and my coughing became uncontrollable. This cold has lingered in my system for over a month now, and I still have not sought any rest to regenerate my immune system, a great blessing given to us by the Creator.

So now I am ashamed to explain once again why I have not delivered as forementioned, due to taking on too much. I realized I put a lot of pressure on myself, or should I say unnecessary pressure. My friends have been very patient with me, and I thank them for that. I got caught up in the vibe and emotion, and in the process forgot the rights that my body has over me, which is less stress, proper food and exercise, and rest and recuperation. Many things we take for granted in this Bluetooth Society( I will explain that one day!)

So our priorities are screwed to say the least. The most important things like God, family, justice, physical and mental health gets lost in the mix, or we focus on one thing, but other things are neglected. Most of the time is it our occupations or careers that take precedence, as we become "workaholics", but there are other extremes we take. For example in this society people spend oodles of hours in the gym getting their body in the best shape possible, but most of the time it is so they can put on that swimsuit in the summertime. An increasing amount of people are getting into shape physically, but when it comes to mental health they are mental trainwrecks, who can't hold a decent conversation with a person without becoming graphic and vile. Our on the go, overly social lifestyles has caused other things to be neglected which will catch with us one day if we don't stop. I'm glad all that I have is a severe cold. It could progress to something worse, if I don't pump the brakes.

Everything has it rights, and if not treated properly, will begin to protest. The human body is a loan from God, and He has created certain properties that will falter if not treated properly, and the end result will be obesity, cancer, aging, autoimmune diseases, you name it. No Justice, No Peace.

Moderation is the key.....Love your craft, but don't make it your life.
Take care.......
